Is it possible to expand the piano roll?

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
I'm trying to produce microtonal tracks using ZynAddSub, and a difficulty I've found is that the piano roll is of insufficient size to support the amount of octaves I need. When I divide an octave into 31 instead of 12, octaves become a lot wider on the keyboard, and I can only access like 3 octaves at a time. Any suggestions on a way around this? Pitch correction sucks because it completely distorts the sound.
I found a workaround - ZynAddSub allows you to move which key is the center "A" key in the scale menu.

That can you also do in LMMS.
We call it the Base-note. Default it is A4, and denoted be the small marker on the keyboard of the instrument-preset UI.
Read more about that feature here:
https://docs.lmms.io/user-manual/3-navi ... -base-note
Real micro-tonal setups would however best be achieved by using the PITCH-dial in combination with the range-settings
I made a video on that :

Thank you, that is helpful for using VSTs that don't support microtonality natively. I do find this method a bit limiting, though, and very cumbersome, considering that I would have to have multiple instances of the same "instrument" to utilize any complex tuning system. Keeping track of chords across multiple piano rolls is a real pain  ! I try to use VSTs that support microtonal tuning natively as it simplifies the process of microtonal production significantly.

Thanks for your response.
How do you use microtones on ZynAddSubFX?

There is a subpage for it, but it make no sense atm. You can microtune zasfx, but it cant be saved!
Is there some way to make it save-able? microtones would be useful in a lot of circumstances if you ask me.

Oh man. Now that is disappointing. :/
