General VST Help

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
First and Foremost I would like to mention my OS is (Linux) Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS, I downloaded lmms 1.2.2 app image from https://lmms.io/download#linux, and the sound output is ALSA.

Now I've installed the Vital Plug-in as an app for linux but don't know how to add it as a instrument (Vital and LMMS both work fine independently), can anyone please help me as how to add Vital as VST?

Thanks in Advance.

Good.

You need WINE and you must install WINE before LMMS.
Install Wine before you install LMMS' AppImage for Linux. The first time you start LMMS through the AppImage file, Wine may ask you to install upgrades - be sure to accept them all.
Afterwards go into Edit > Settings > Misc, and Disable Sync VST plugins to host playback. This works best for Linux.
Well I actually I've already had WINE installed (as well as WINE tricks) before downloading and making the app image executable. Also I followed the instructions you gave me about the settings, now I don't know what to do, as I'm afraid I still don't know how to add Vital. (Note the version of Vital I have installed was built for Linux based OS, and runs like its own app without any executable files necessary as it installed to my device, so it has no .dll , .exe , .so , .ttl , application executable file, or x-executable file in order to run it.)
I googled vital and found this:

https://vital.audio/

It seems to have a native Linux version, so you can't load in into LMMS, unless you install Carla too.

LMMS cant load (yet?) native Linux plugins (synths) as far as I know.

Carla should be in some Ubuntu repository or maybe here:
https://kx.studio/Repositories

After the install of Carla it should appear in LMMS on the left were all instruments are.
