Hi. I need some advice to proceed with LMMS. I installed it today and it opened and ran great the first time on instillation. But now when I try to open it from the initial splash page I get this error message:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way. Please contact the applications support team...

And the LMMS closes.

Not sure how to proceed. Any help greatly appreciated.

But now when I try to open it from the initial splash page
i dont understand this 'splashpage'
Open your installation folder
point to the lmms.exe
right click
choose create shortcut
drag to desktop
run
-or , if you dont want to have a shortcut
Open your installation folder
point to the lmms.exe
right click
choose run

If you still have problems you need to post this:
Your OS + servicepack version if any
Your version of lmms

-in the end, you properly will have to un-install, and reinstall, but that is for later
Br.

You should not have any problems with win10 & LMMS.
One general thing, though:
For windows SDL is the sound-device preferred. Have you set that?
If you load a demo project, does that play?

*Merry Christmas Everyone*
