How 2 Get 2 Notes To Play Immediately After One Ends

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
odawgg wrote:Yeah, there's a delay you can even see in the following image http://imageshack.us/f/853/delay.png/ I circled the area of noticeable delay. How to I rid the notes of the delay? ALSO, In the picture you have, how do you create two notes on the same piano roll with different lengths?
Oh okay, I think I understand. The song editor isn't really for individual notes, it's for arranging and rearranging groups of notes.

The dark area that the arrow is pointing at is called a pattern in lmms, and it is kind of like a container for a group of notes. You can double click it, and it will open it in a new window that looks like this

This window is called the piano roll window, and it shows you all the notes in the container. When musikbear mentioned note containers, I think he meant the green bars you can see in this picture :) If you have draw mode selected at the top of the piano roll window like I do, you can click the left mouse button while your cursor is anywhere in the dark part of the window to add notes, and you can right click on notes to delete them. Though, if you are left handed, it might be the other way around.

I hope that helped :) I will post more if you want me to.
Yes, post more, I still don't have the solution to my original problem, how to stop the delay from one note to the other, I almost do, isn't there a setting where I can set the specific times for each note?
Okay, in your project, double click on the second pattern container, thingy in the song editor to open the piano roll.

It should look like this

http://i1141.photobucket.com/albums/n59 ... pture9.jpg

Place your mouse cursor over the note container. When you do, the cursor will look like four arrows pointing away from each other

http://i1141.photobucket.com/albums/n59 ... pture2.jpg

Then click and hold the left mouse button down while you drag the note container to the right. Keep moving it to the right until the beginning of the note container is halfway across the first measure in the piano roll, like this

http://i1141.photobucket.com/albums/n59 ... pture3.jpg

Now exit the piano roll and look at the second pattern container in the song editor

http://i1141.photobucket.com/albums/n59 ... pture5.jpg

Place your cursor over it like in the picture above, click and hold down the left mouse button, and then drag it to the left one measure so that it looks like this

Problem solved, for now! Thanks both of you, more questions about other features will be asked, don't worry.
Okay, here's me doing what the video says it wont stop at for example 1.5 like yours does http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=a5evl0&s=5 but I think I got it, listen to this beat I made and tell me if you think there's still a delay http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-M4ZNjSK ... e=youtu.be
