VST plugins cause freezes

Hi. My problem is that whenever I try to load up a project where a VST is used LMMS freezes and I have to exit it, which makes me unable to open any projects where a VST is used.

What operating system ? Any particular VST(s) ? There are some VSTs that don't work with LMMS but plenty that do. I use loads of different ones (on Win7 and Win10) without any problems.

You haven't moved your VSTs around on the disk so they're not where you originally had them have you ? That can mess things up.
