I am currently using a MacBook Pro and I’m getting A Windows laptop next and I have a lot of files I’ve been using for years on this computer. Is their anyway I can transfer my Files from My MacBook to the new Computer?
Only manually, and you will still get issues, because you come from a MAC-platform and transfers to Windows. It will be minor issues. I strongly advise you to install in default folders on your new installation, then it will be easy for us to assist you with any issues -Just ask here.
Thanks when I actually purchase my new computer I will update👍
Hey I finally got my computer and I’m wondering how do I go about transferring my files from my Mac to my Windows desktop

i'm not sure if there even is a way to transfer my old lmms projects from my original computer to my new laptop.
Of cause you can transfer your projects, but it is a bit of work.
The most important thing is how you installed on your old pc. If you installed default, then its not so difficult, but if you made non-default install, then its more work-intensive.
All your own files are default in your user-profile-folder inside folder lmms
Those you need to move into the new installations user-files
The rest of lmms is factory, and will install identically unless you change default settings.
But you need to do all filetransfers manually. lmms has no tools for it.
