The FX mixer has become very powerful now that multiple routing is possible.
It would be great to save an FX's channel plugins and their states together as a single package, and then share/load the 'package' in different projects or even across users. Why? This could reproduce a lot of time-saving functionality of Rakarrack or Guitarix, i.e., a multi-effects processor with presets and saved states. I think it would also be a big draw to lmms: we could make lmms/ladspa "ports" of the Rakarrack/Guitarix presets (or approximations at least).
