Chromebooks are really resourceful. Yes I know about running linux on them but I cannot get my Chromebook to boot from usb. Anyway, This will make it available to many other people. More users and everything. I think it would be a very good investment of time. :D
No need to spend time porting lmms to the ChromeOS. Here ya go: http://www.howtogeek.com/162120/how-to- ... h-crouton/ First, be sure that you know if your Chromebook uses an ARM or Intel processor. You'll need to choose a LInux distro that is compiled for one or the other. They are not interchangeable. Once you verify that, just install LINUX following this article and voila! you can run lmms. However, be aware that Chromebooks are not the most powerful devices out there, so you may have issues doing CPU intensive tasks and have to make audio driver latency adjustments if things get too sluggish.

Cheers.

As long as it's your own time, I don't think anyone will have objections.
