Additional Start and Stop buttons

Hope this is not a silly question but Is it possible to place additional Start and Stop buttons at intervals of say; every 100 or 150 bars across the top, This would eliminate having to scroll all the way back to the beginning when working beyond the 200 bar mark/section for longer pieces ?

I think something is quite wrong with your lmms.
The start/stop, or often named transport-buttons should definitely not 'disappear' as you add either notes or blocks in resp. piano-roll and song-editor.
They are on the speedbar in both editors, and only the lower section scrolls.
Could you make a sreenshot where your start/stop buttons are out of focus at bar 200 as you wrote?
I suspect that you are using a outdated theme -Does that ring a bell?
