nice piano and percussion!
maby the lead has to little presence. It sounds 'weak' ..like its not 'there'
Difficult to explain..
There is also a constant buzz in it. Are you using a LFO to sidechain? 'We' had a big grüff about depth of lfo's. I do not like that 'buzz' from lfo
I do not hear a buzz, but I think that I agree that the lead can be louder.

Maybe it needs more of a build up ? Anf then later on some more variation on the lead ?

I do like you're track, it only needs to be longer.

I think I understand what musikbear is talking about.
It sounds like that bouncing ball pinge sound, when making a kick sound in Kicker.
Wait,....just by chance, are you using Lmms' "Kicker plugin?"

In the case of the piano sound.
If possible, add some Reverb, or a bit more reverb on the piano to make it sound wider and more fuller too.
A small bit of Calf Vintage delay might be good to, and is quite optionable.
Gps wrote:Anf then later on some more variation on the lead ?
As Gps suggested, a bit more variation in the piano melody, especially if you continue this track.
You can always go back to the main melody, coming closer to the end of the track. :)

It seems you already got a good bit of help from these two guys.
I don't know what more to say. :D

By the way.
This music is nice. :)
The piano sound and melody are very cool.
Take your time, enjoy and make it longer. :)
Cheers.

i am, actually ... is that a bad thing? i'm still working my way around with VST's. i started teaching myself tracking with MadTracker2, and switched to LMMS just as i was starting VST synths ...

piano is mda piano, synth is Triple Oscillator ...

and those are the only three synths i'm using right now. i will say this much (and i think it's related to the mda piano vst), when i open the file, i get this feedback that plays for a minute or two before i can actually play my track ...

Nope.
It's a nice plugin.

To remove or reduce the pik pik pinge sound in Kicker plugin.
Click the filter button until it turns green.
And select 2x low pass filter, or you could use lowpass and turn the Freq dial a good bit to the left.
Don't turn it too much though. :)

That'll help remove that pik pik buzzy pinge sound in Kicker.

Okay. Nice.

Feedback?
Interesting problem. :geek:

... yeah, i'm trying to export a wav of what it sounds like. it's like every note was slammed at once, and then the static from the extremely high volume ... then when it fades, it acts like a fading out reverb.

o..O i don't get it either

Wow!
Now that's strange. :|
If it happens again, try to record it and put it put it on soundcloud, so we could hear this unusual phenomenon.
