Hey. Typical first post/ introduction.

Share and discuss your LMMS music projects here, and see what people think!
Hey all. I never realized lmms had such a large online community! Gotta say, i'm thrilled! I don't know anyone else who uses this program but I am definately a firm believer in it.
My name is Jacob, I'm 21 years old, from Saskatchewan, and produce music under the name Cubbyk.
I'm not really sure what genre the music i make falls under but for quite sometime i've used LMMS exclusively; I enjoy lofi hiphop, witchhouse, trap, and chill and most of my music is kind of a blend of (or atleast my best attempt at emmulating  ) those styles. If you're interested check out my soundcloud. I would love to get some feedback from other LMMS users.

Your tracks are very unusual, and i am truely not in the focus-group :p
But you have made nice production, and your instruments are clean and sounds nice, imo.
Thank you for the warm welcome and compliments musikbear! I find I primarily make my music using the audio file processor. I used to flipflop between ableton and fl studio but for whatever reason LMMS just FEELS right and works with how my brain does if that makes sense. Thanks for the links. Im glad there are so many tutorials available.
What is witchouse?
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Witch_h ... sic_genre)

Dark electronic inspired by the occult. I play in an extreme metal band called Of Doomed Morale, and the music we play is very slow, heavy, droney, and sort-of-black-sabbath-y, but lately most of my free time is spent doing electronic stuff or making hiphop instrumentals to sell, so I find i try and keep the same kind of vibe and momentum going with some of my electronic songs that is prevelent in my work in metal. I like a sort of spooky, lofi sound when it comes to producing, and i love stretching and warping vocal sections from different pop songs and using them almost... like an instrument or something if you get what i mean (Thank you audiofileprocessor) and that technique is used pretty heavy in witchhouse.

Look up salem or crim3s or m-uggr333 or even some of purity ring's discography.

Here's the most recent witchhouse-ish track ive made.
