Hey,
Just finished a remix of Ahrix's Nova.
I would like to have some feedback and advices.

There is so much I could say for this track.
But this is a really lovely remix dude. Great work! 8-)
I like the piano start up, and how it goes faster afterwards, into the plucky synth melody.
Lovely synth sounds. You used them together well, for this remix.
Nice slowdown fade out ending.
I personally find this track, surreal yet enjoyable to listen to. :)

After listening to the entire track, I must say, that it strangely has an ancient celtic folk sound and feel to it. :)
For some strange reason, I find it sounds like something, that Irish singer Enya would sing too. :)

Woah, didn't expect so many kind words haha.
Thank you so much.
I thought the remix was pretty nice (though I don't know the original) but I have some production related critiques for you.

The Good:
I thought that the melody was great; it went well with the other synth parts and was uplifting and chill. The chord progression was also nice. The part that sounded like it might've been sampled from the original sounded good too. The rhythm parts were also pretty solid for the most part. I really liked that little buildup with the pitched drums (although you used it a little too much IMO).

The Bad (in my opinion of course):
You had some MAJOR mixing issues. There was some pretty significant clipping going on during the majority of the track, so much that I could actually see the volume flatlining at the max on Soundcloud (my older tracks had lots of clipping so I know what this looks like!). Just turn those levels down; you don't need to worry about volume. Also, regarding the percussion arrangement: you had a very minimal percussion section in this track, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I felt like it lacked direction. You had an upbeat melody with a nice syncopated backbeat, but the kick was weak when present (as was the clap) and there was no snare to emphasize any beats. Basically, the track just felt "lost" rhythmically, and I think some more percussion in the beat would help it from sounding like the whole thing was a bridge or break section.

Most of this comes down to personal preference (except the clipping!), but I hope my feedback was helpful in some small way.
