Reset LFO

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Hello,

So far I really like this awesome program :D

But I was wondering if it is possible to Reset the LFO phase when hit the note again. Because by default it will continue where it left the last time. (Which has it's uses, I know, but is very annoying awell sometimes :P)

Thanks,

unfortunately no
but you can (in theori) use a new note-container and get a similar result, but only if you only have notes of the same length in the same container, and that is almost the same as saying: you need several identical instruments with different envelopes :c

aww :(

Thanks for the suggestion, I will see if I can put it to use :)
A "hacky" workaround might be to use automations within the beat/bassline editor. If a certain control waveform is used frequently enough, it might be useful. Just keep in mind that you'll have to keep your beat/bassline tracks used for automations in this way separate from each other and those used for rythm tracks.

Upside is that it starts consistently where ever the beat bassline track for that automation is placed and lets you do waveforms the LFO controller doesn't. Also note that dragging that bassline track and holding control just before releasing will let you place it off-measure.

Downside of this hack is that automations are made by manually drawing points. Consistency and fine control are more difficult to achieve because of this.
