Possible to use Arpeggiator plugins (like Catanya, BlueArp or Kirnu) with Vestige?

Arpeggiator plugins (like Catanya, BlueArp or Kirnu-Cream) are effects-plugins which receive and process the midi-data and then send that arpeggiated data to the synth plugin to generate audio. I've been using LMMS for 2-1/2 years and, based on my experience, Vestige and other LMMS instrument-plugins only seem to allow effects-plugins to operate after the synth plugin has processed the midi data; so arpeggiator effects-plugins are not compatible with LMMS.

I continue to discover capabilities which LMMS has; so I hope someone knows of a way to use arpeggiator effects-plugins with Vestige.

I know that Synth 1 has a special arpeggio section, that works by itself, without the need to use effect plugins, to use it's arpeggio function. And, you can use your computer keyboard, to play the arpeggio notes etc. with ease.
Or, you can use, Synth ones LFO section, to arpeggiate the notes and do it your own way.
And play them, using your PC keyboard etc. by pressing and holding, any one keyboard key.

However, I have never used a midi keyboard etc. with Synth 1, to use it's special arpeggio capabilities.
And neither have I used, some special effects plugins+midi, to use it's arpeggio functions yet.
I wish I was an expert on that though.

I've never tried this...but I wonder if it's possible to load the arp VST directly into Vestige and then add the actual synth as though it was an effect ? I suspect not because probably only audio is routed to the FX bus and not MIDI but it might be worth a quick try.

I confess that when I want to do any real manipulation of MIDI e.g. sequencing, real-time chord generation, humanising, randomising etc I use a different DAW .

I would try the other way around. Load (f.i) 3oc and add the arp-vst as an effect on the FX-tab
That works perfect with gates, why not arps..

Musikbear, that doesn't work. To test it yourself, simply download one or all of the free arpeggiator plugins I mentioned: Kirnu-Cream, BlueArp, or Catanya (free demo).
