Project "Euphoria"

Summary

Hello people.

This is a project that I have worked on over the last couple of days and I thought that I would share it with the community. I am open to feedback and I am going to be making changes based on suggestions that I receive.

The idea of my project was to be more melody based, including a light build up. The drop isn't anything special, I just added a kick on top with a bit of sub bass to give it more of a kick.

As I said before, I am open to feedback so feel free to comment if you want to say anything.

Now this track is cool and exciting. 8-)
I would say, to use a boomyer sounding kick sound, but you did a good job with the one you used, in this track.
I have updated the track. Here is the new link:

New Features
Drop
+ Gave the kick an additional layer. (Thanks brandystarbrite!)
+ (2nd drop) Added an additional shaker for variation.
+ (2nd drop) For the final repeat of the melody, there's a completely new drum pattern before it builds down.

Build Up
+ Replaced acoustic kick with clap at start.
+ (2nd build up) Piano builds up again into a light kick + clap.
+ (2nd build up)Fades into a kick pattern w/ low pass filter to allow the synths to transition in.
+ (2nd build up)For the 2nd drop build up, added a "ping pong" effect just for variation.

This sounds cool and I can hear the improvements in it. :)
I suggest adding a slight bit of reverb and echo effect, to that nice clap sound
that is heard at the start, between 15 secs to 29 secs and heard onward throughout the music.

Overall, great work. It's really sounding good. A fun exciting track to listen too. :D

Thank you for the feedback! :)

I do agree that the claps sound weak, I will use reverb on them to give them a bit more depth.

+ Added reverb to the claps.
+ Added another stage to the snare build up which increases in speed.
Sounds great so far. Like another commenter said, it reminds me of Levels by Avicci. Nice uplifting feeling. The only thing I would add is on the second drop, add a high melodic line on top of the repeating chords. Something long and drawn out, but keep the sidechain.
