Little blank at the end of the sample.

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Hi everyone! I'm new to LMMS and I'm having a pretty good experience so far, but I have a little issue, I am using a sample as the main melody of my song and I wanted to it to be a little faster. So I sped it up by moving it on an upper note, but now there's a blank at the end of the sample which prevents me to loop it correctly.
Is there any way to remove that blank?
How are you doing the looping ? If you loop the sample in Audio File Processor and just use a single long note in the Piano Roll then AFP automatically corrects for different notes causing different loop lengths. See https://lmms.io/wiki/index.php?title=AudioFileProcessor

It's more fiddly if you are trying to use Sample Player but have a look at https://lmms.io/wiki/index.php?title=Wo ... th_Samples for some ideas.

If you want to use lmms like a clip-looper, then Audio File Processor is not the right plugin.
LMMS can work perfect as a looper:

Adjusting speed is best done in a program like Audacity.

Tanks for the advices, I will use Audacity to speed up the samples if I need to but now I find the song to be better with the blank, but thanks for the tips, they'll be useful for sure :) .
Ok, so I tried to play the loop with the sample track but it doesn't take the whole sample in one green bar, it just stops where the file doesn't. Can you help me for this?
Sorry, can't help there. I always use Audio File Processor for loops. Have you tried that instead ?

Ok it was just because my BPM wasn't on point. And yes, I use AFP for loops but I'll see if the sample track is more effective.
