(I'm putting this here since there's no "off topic" section)
(Also, you should read the whole thing, but if you're rally bored, just go to the TL;DR at the end)
I'm considering switching to the Cubase family, starting with elements, so while I was thinking about it, I realised the next best version, artist, is only fifty dollars less than FL studio, so I started wondering if it made sense to go with Cubase instead of fl.
I am generally biased towards Cubase, and don't like fl as much because of how many times I've heard that mixing and mastering isn't easy, the lack of score editing, and a bunch of other things. So then I thought about LMMS, and realized, it's pretty powerful. Then I realized, in about a year (or maybe 2), it'll probably be just as powerful.
TL;DR So what I'm considering is going with Cubase elements then artist (full seems unnecessary), and then when I want things that I can do in fl, I'll use LMMS, because of how similar it will be by the time I buy Cubase artist (in about a year). Do you agree/think I should do this?
