Do you use JACK?

You can try and rename the config file and restart LMMS.

Do use jack (using ardour to ) starting in CLI give no error so gues it simply dit not install
Wat is there works fine. Dit the rename ,and started in CLI @ubu-music:~$ lmms as this no errors or remarks.

I still don't think your question is clear:

1.

using ubuntu 13.04 64 bit and ppa:kxstudio-team/ppa installed this as is the newest version 0.4.15 but
missing so many things mallets,freeboy,patman,sf2 player,sid,singerbot and vestige.

Maybe not clear but it are the app,s that are missing !As the are placed under the preset tab...
like audiofileprocessor,bitinvader,lb302,organic,tripleoscilator,vibed and zynaddsubfx the are there,

You have exactly the same instruments under the presets tab as I do. There are no presets for the other instruments. You need to dowload SoundFonts all by yourself (search soundfont in the package manager)

What instruments do you have under the tab named Instrument Plugins? It's above the presets tab.

No wonder the question is not clear,i was missing the whole instruments plugin map.
No idea if this group has come after herinstalation of lmms or by removing the old config files. But its there now.No excuse but thats why i stayed at the plugins.

OK. Something similar happened to me and I don't remember how I fixed the issue.

Can you also post a comment in your support-request ticket that it's solved so it can be closed?
