Hi everyone, I have uploaded a song but need help with how to improve the sound of the song so any advice/criticism is appreciated also if anyone wants to modify/improve/collaborate I would be happy to provide the song file. https://soundcloud.com/user-810113910
Hey SV91!

Overall I like the vibe from the song.

However, some tweaks I think it would benefit from are:

1) Either turn down the that first instrument some or turn up the drums as they are drowned out a few times during the song.

2) Add some reverb to you drums; specifically the snare.

3) Try adding some pass filters, panning options. I sometimes use the Calf Pulsator on my leads to get a more ambient sound, it also keeps you from having to pan each individual note manually.

P.S. Thanks for listening to/liking my song!
Thanks for the help Strawbeary Jams, it means a lot to me for the response, I love your music and style.
Anytime, my friend! The feeling is mutual, keep up the good work! :D

I have no idea, which track you want us to listen to.
So I'll check out both. :)

NinjaMonkeySlumber - This has a cool jungley beat to it.

NinjaMonkeyShakedown - Okay. Here it goes. :)

a) The kick drums volume, should be a bit louder.

b) The loudness of the synth lead sound, (I believe it's a LB 302?), that starts from 1:30 secs, slightly overpowers the kick and other instruments a bit.
Slightly lower down the volume, of that synth sound, a tiny bit.

c) (The harp sounding synth?), from 4:37 to 4:49 secs, is a bit too loud
and has alot of resonance, or too much reverb or release, emanating from it.
Lowering down the volume a bit, of that sound, and reducing the reverb/release, or resonance
might make it sound better.

But I must admit, that whole harp sounding part at the end, with the kick drum and snare beats
in the background, really sounded cool. This whole track, has lots of cool beats and melodies.
NinjaMonkeyShakedown is some really nice work dude.
Thanks Brandystarbrite for the kind words and good advice, this has also helped a lot and will upload the newer version soon :)
About Ninja Monkey Slumber :
- Theresa is a "click" at the end of some samples. Did you activate the ENV/LFO > VOLUME > AMT ? You can also adjust the values of the DAHDSR knobs.
- Otherwise, it lacks instruments.

About NinjaMonkeyShakedown :
- This is much more convincing than the previous track.
- To reach the next level, you can play with the sound space (left / right, foreground / background, up / down (if it is possible)). For example, when a first instrument is in the foreground, you can drive it to the background, and bring a second (group of) instrument toward the foreground. Etc.

What else ?

Sorry for my broken English
thanks D. Ipsum :) what are the methods or tools to playing with sound space? This seems important.
