Thank you, and I am very happy with it.

Still worried about that epic build-up I need, and I probably need to search for orchestral drums. :)

Gotta love zynaddsubfx. Its a preset of which I only needed to fine tune the envelope a bit, so that the sound fades out right.

Orchestral drums?
Like the Taiko drums, used in orchestral music etc? :)
That could be the drums.

And those can work, for an epic build up :P

Those are not the drums, I think that come with lmms. I think its those big ones used in orchestra

Okay. :)
The drums used in that vid, especially the sound of it, remind me of the Bass drums
used in orchestral music. Bass drums, give alot of dramatic sound, to orchestral music.
And it even kinda sounds, a bit like a Bass Drum too.

But then, I just discovered, the one in that vid, is actually called a Pauken. :)
Wow! So that's what they're called. I learned something new today. Ha! Ha! :D

So you have a choice, between Bass Drum, Pauken, Concert Toms and Taiko.

Okay:
After listening to the sounds, all those drums make, I think the Pauken, might be better
suited for your build up. :D

Those big drums used in orchestras are called Timpani in English. They quite often are tunable by the use of pedals. And for build ups? They are the original 'build up' material...

I had to google because Timpani does not sound familiar to me.

I learned from google that pauken is the dutch word for those drums. ( that why for me pauken does sound familiar )

Many years ago at school I was told all the instruments in an orchestra. ( I was not really interested back then )
Some of it did stick, but not name of those drums.

Interesting to hear they are the original "build up" material. I never knew they often have pedals. :)

Sometimes even classical music is nice. ;)

I might have to layer anyway, so we will see.

I also noticed on you tube two slightly different versions. I wonder if one is a re-recording.
The difference is very small, and I probably only noticed this because I have a greatest hits CD of Vangelis.

The synth at 0.28

and then this one at 0.28

The second version is the one I am more familiar with. :o

First version does sound better, sound quality wise.

Later in the track though after the timpani, I think I hear, lets call it pop music drums, the ones that do come with lmms.

That movie has an amazing sound track and I don't remember any tune in there that was especially written for it.
Most memorable to me is the choir pieces by Ligeti.
