Futucraft Kairatune problem

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
I know that this vst isn't in your list here https://lmms.io/wiki/index.php?title=Tested_VSTs#Keys

But i use it. i have only one trouble, but it's a big trouble: when i begin my project and i open it with VeSTige, it open normally, i choose my sound, i do the melody, i continue my project. In the end i save the project and when i try to reopen that project (this happen with any project with kairatune), LMMS crash. I want to use it, because it's maybe the best vst synth free i know, but i can't. Someone can help me?

this is the site of kairatune http://futucraft.com/kairatune/
A forum member, or a LSP member (I forgot who) uses this VSTi regularly. It seems to me that he did not mention a problem. Should find the thread.

Do you use it on LMMS 1.1.3?

Please post your:
* OS (+service-pack-version)
* lmms version
* hardware specification (ram & soundcard is the most important)
* Latency setting
* lmms sound device chosen
* a screenshots of error-state -if any oddness appear
- Windows Vista Home Basic 32-bit (Service Pack 2)
- I use LMMS 1.1.3 Because i think is more stable, especially for VSTs
- 3,00 Gb of RAM, Processor: Intel Core2 Duo CPU T5870 2.00 GHz, soundcard is RealTek High Definition Audio
- Where can I found the latency settings? (Or, what do you mean for them? I'm sorry, i'm italian, if you mean RAM Latency, i have 4,8 memory operation per second)
- SDL, because in an other topic someone say to me that is the best, and it's true

I dont think it can work in lmms. Your issue is similar to other var's that does not work in lmms.
Some of witch depends on libs not in std vst, other just dont 'like' lmms.
That is 'normal' in respect to using software inside software.

Here http://lmms.io/wiki/index.php?title=Tes ... o_NOT_work is a collection of vst's that just dont like lmms
However!
Several of these DO run on RC4, and asa RC4 is released as 1.2.0, i will remove several from the list, but may have to add Karikatune..
What exactly is it you like so much? The fact it has many presets? Or is there a special feature? Perhaps we can advise an alternative
I said that i have installed lmms 1.2.0 rc4 and it doesn't function in any case. Yeah, i love it because it has many presets, but mostly because i think it has a really great sound as a free vst. If you an alternative, ok please tell me, but i already have most of free vst and i can't find 1 that sounds like this. I already have u-he TyrellN6, Synth1, SuperWaveP8, some DSK and many other are great, but they are all different between them and also than Kairatune. In any case if you know a free vst that sounds like this, please tell me and thanks a lot.

P.S. But i haven't already understood why it doesn't function, because you also said to me that you know a person that use it regularly. Maybe is Win Vista? I really don't know...

Yes, im afraid it most likely is. I can actually get it to run on xp..
Vista was notorious for not liking a lot of software.

The thing about 'its sound'
I have to say, i cant agree. There is nothing special about the sound of kariakatune imo. You can use EQs on Synth1 presets, and get the same depth. Can you tell me what preset(s) you find is especially unique ?
Then its possible that i can find or build similar in Synth1 of zasfx
Karikatune does not even have a real ENV, according to ADSR-conventions, thats just one of the reason im not cheering for this particular VST

Edit
Do you know about this page: http://futucraft.com/category/kairatune/page/5/
Here you can find previous versions, and maby one will work on Vista (?)
There is also explanations of the strange concept of one-osc, with stepless wave synthesis from saw to square.
some interesting ideas, but not conventional :'p
