Can we now copy and paste multiple segments?

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Also, can the bass and beat edit work on shorter beats than 1/16?

Yes, just right-click and open the track in piano-roll

Besides that, since you are new here-

And how do I do that? (from multiple tracks too)

You use the select-tool
Image
The 'rubber-square' -on picture its #4 from right
* Select all the blocks you want to copy
* hold CTRL
* point mouse at any part of the selection, press and drag the block to any new position in song-editor.
As you drag, you will only see the 'draggie-block' move, but at release all will be copied
Thanks for the explanation musikbear, but i don't understand why it's not working for me. I tried everything but i can't get it to work. I'm in version 1.1.3. as you said, so do i need to change something in the settings or something ?

When i follow your steps, i see the "draggie-block" move, but at release only the part where my mouse was pointing will be copied.

It's already an improvement, but i would really like this to work :)

Oh no i said In > 1.1.3 yes.
My fault
Its just that ">" meaning is so obvious to me, that i forgot that it is not for everyone. Sorry!
No -Any of the RC eg any Higher version than 1.1.3 will do it
Download the RC5
It is 'almost' regarded as a release...

Sorry for the inconvenience

No need to apologize ;)

I should first read a bit more about LMMS and upgrades, because i'm not sure what this all means :lol: Maybe i'll just wait for the release and copy paste the hard way till the update. I'm already happy with the single block copy paste feature haha.

It didn't work for me either, using the latest version of LMMS. But I tried holding CTRL first and then selecting the blocks and it worked. So to modify the instructions...

* hold CTRL
* Select all the blocks you want to copy
* point mouse at any part of the selection, press and drag the block to any new position in song-editor.
As you drag, you will only see the 'draggie-block' move, but at release all will be copied

This is a great program. I am still finding it a bit tiring as I am new to it and it is not as easy as Reaper. However, I like the fresh sounds very much. And the fact that it is free is encouraging. I think LMMS and other programs like it are the future. Enuf greed and hypocrisy from the Big Boys and Girls!

Thanks very much to all involved in this project. :mrgreen:
