LMMS 1.0.2 doesn't export audio tracks

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Just hangs after pressing "Start" in any WAV/OGG exporting dialogue.

Core-i5, OpenSUSE 11.4, LMMS was built from source right on this machine. Any other features works well.
Has it ever worked, since you built it?
Why not? Your home built programs usually doesn't work?

Seriosly - at first I tried to install ready build from here - http://packman.links2linux.de/package/628

It has some problems with piano-roll display and VSTi plugins. But it exported audiofiles.

Home build from last sources taken from github works perfectly, but in doesn't save WAV and OGG. Maybe it has some else problems - I don't know, any feature that I need works good.
My bad, my "since" was meant as a time adverb.

I was just asking if, after you have installed the program building it, it worked once, and then it stopped working.
Anyway please wait for a linux user, as I'm a windows user and I'm not familiar with building.
Don't care! I didn't mean your words as agression.

I worked about a year with LMMS 0.4.13, it doesn't support VST. But some projects could become more pretty with Korg LE for example, or with Kontakt 5 in place of ZynAddSubFX or wavefiles with loops, recorded from mic.

So I tried to install ready binary. It saves files but looks terrible. My home build works perfectly but doesn't save tracks. I'm mixing my project in other software or loading generated tracks into multitrack recorder to record with them real instruments like flute or guitar.

Some time ago the same problem was with Hydrogen. Home build couldn't save wavfiles. Ready binary from home page of Hydrogen had troubles with displaying controls. I thougt it's because of inner troubles with Qt or audiodevice libraries. But I'm not sure.

By the way, in Win 7 on my netbook LMMS doesn't work at all.
Until saving WAV or OGG IT WORKS! Sound is clear, VSTi plugins works good. After restarting when it hangs in time of saving tracks it works good again.

Saved WAV files contain ONLY HEADER (44 bytes)

Problems with piano roll display are solved by using an up-to-date theme. Old 0.4.x themes do not work on LMMS 1.0. Easiest way to solve that is to go into settings, and remove the "artwork directory" setting, then restart LMMS - if the artwork directory setting is empty LMMS automatically uses the new default theme.

As for VSTi, not all VSTi's work on LMMS, no matter which way you install. It's just expected since they're ran via WINE.
I've found that problems with piano roll gone away after total deleting old LMMS from system and rebuilding it.

So, I spent some time playing with downloaded RPM and my own build. Because of I haven't any files from old version, there wasn't any problems with display. But thanks to diiz for his advice! It's really so. After building new version I have only new themes.

But the problem with exporting tracks doesn't disappear. Even after deleting my build and installing from RPM. And here I recall - trying version 1.0.2 at first time I made render for existing session with 48 kHz 32 bit tracks. Render was successful. Then I rebuilt LMMS and tried to generate tracks for loading into my Zoom R16, it supports only 44.1 kHz, 16 or 24 bit WAVs. And I couldn't do it.

Now, after diiz reply I've tested both downloaded RPM and my own build. And find out than they are rendering tracks in any samplerate EXCEPT 44.1 kHz!

Maybe it's because of my system, maybe it's developpers' fault. I don't know. My own problem is solved - it's not difficult to convert rendered tracks into 44.1 kHz 24 bit with ffmpeg, for example, from any other samplerate.

But the global trouble with crash when rendering into 44.1 kHz doesn't go.

Maybe you can report the issue on github.
Maybe I can... of course. But I won't.

Yesterday night I didn't listen exported WAVs. But then I found that they are not absolutely empty, size was about 30 kb. 30 kb of silence. It can be a problem with JACK, not with LMMS.

Thank you, diiz, for your your empathy and advices, but I tried to install and run in Wine FL Studio. 9th version works well, midi-keyboard and needed VSTis also. So there is no need in LMMS. But if somebody say what was it, it can be useful for others.
