A VST that can load several wave-sample files, is a sampler, not just a 'drum-machine'. Currently only Grace works in linux-LMMS -afaik, and i doubt anyone actually has taken Grace through the 5-point-test:
You're right it can only plays internal drumset, but it has several ones.
