Hi Guys - thanks for taking the time to read this!
I just brought a new PC but I'm having trouble with Vestige/VST plugins. Whenever I use some VST plugins the CPU completely maxes out and it becomes unusable - this normally happens after 10 seconds. This doesn't happen for every plugin but unfortunately it happens on all the plugins I have that sound good.
System Specs:
OS: Windows 10 Home x64
CPU: Intel i7 6-cores
RAM: 32gb
My old PC was running Windows 7 Home x64 and other than the occasion 'pop' during playback the same projects ran OK. I'd get one every now and then where the sound would completely die but it didn't happen often and normally invoved using a lot of VST plugins at once.
I've tried everything I can in the settings, like disabling HD audio output, increasing the buffer size and using SDL but none of those have made a difference. Kinda bummed out because at the moment LMMS is completely unusuable but I don't want to use anything else
Any help would be greatly appreciated
