Finally I released :D

https://soundcloud.com/user586365033/th ... midi-remix

Happy about the stereo width, better then I ever did before.

One calf plugin, but not the one that messes with the balance of the mix.

Feedback as always welcome.

Two small variations on the original piano loop one at 3.23 and one at 5.25.

Musicbear gave some feedback on an earlier version. I think I have improved on the Kraze samples, but its not perfect.

I wonder if the cheeky bastards, side chain Kraze in the original.

After hours and hours of trying, Kraze is either a bit too loud or a bit too soft.

Some crackling comes clearly from vinyl. Its in the Kraze samples.
I could probably filter it out (audacity ) , but I am worried filtering out the crackling will do more harm then good.
It does not really bother me, it makes me smile , like my track is already on vinyl :P
OMG I have done it, somebody wants me for their record label, because of this remix.

Soundcloud, why is the word scam the first thing that comes to mind ?

Sup? I love THIS,Greet song!!Send it my work team if U would sign it for our label.
Now I have to stay modest, that wont be easy :P

One word,.............WOOAH!! O.O
8-)

Something tells me, replicating the melodies in this tune, was literally not an easy job. :P

PS: I like that bass that you used. But I think it should be, a tiny bit heavier though. :D
Especially the first part was close to a nightmare :P

There is not clear relation, between that part and the beat.
Then that bassline and the kick, its almost funny because it sounds so simple. :)

Will have a look at the bassline, if I can spice it up a bit. I remember making it a bit lighter, because it was too much.
Maybe I over did it. :)

But you nailed it!

I btw have send you a PM
Thank you, and learned allot from it.

That start is fascinating.
First piano part Is not 4/4 and the longer I thought about it, the more confused I got, so I let go of trying to understand it.
The part to remember, you can do very weird stuff between the 1 and 4 count, as long as you start and stop at the same time. :P

Then the play between the bassline and the kick, who said that house was easy ?

I think, I already answered the pm ?

amen to that!
Its 'fun' in a way, The genre "chewing-gum-pop" -Like Aqua, that is mostly sneared at and is considered 'simple', that is in fact complicated beyond belief :'o

I think, I already answered the pm ?
Not the one i send 3 days ago regarding Linux and rc8 issues with vst, diddent you get that?
I am a bit confused, I had seen that pm and had answered already.

Something must have gone wrong though, because its not under send messages.

So I am gonna answer again. :)

Edit: Its now in my outbox, so it seems this time all went right.

Edit 2

New upload.

Sounds a bit more warm now, especially on soundcloud it sounded a tiny bit bleak.

Hope Brandystarbrite is happy now :P
