This is a pretty nice tune.

Tips: From 1:32 secs to 1:54 secs, the melody has low volume and is drowned out, by the percussion sounds. Maybe raising the volume of the melody, in that part of the tune, might help make it more audible.

Also, I think this track, needs a bit more volume balancing, because the volumes of the sounds, dip low at times throughout the tune, and raise up unexpectedly.

But overall, this is a really nice tune.
That poor Simpsons character.

Thank you so much for weighing in on this one. I came back to listen to this track fresh for the first time in weeks, so I can now absolutely hear what you are talking about. The drums are simply too loud through most of it. Another IRL friend of mine also said something similar. I think a lesson I learned here is that I should probably sit on a "finished" track for a while before throwing it out there. Coming back with fresh ears might help improve balancing/mixing issues. I'm also a complete novice at mixing, but I can only get better because of experiences like this. Thank you a bunch for all your feedback/positivity! I value your opinion.

Yeah. That is a good idea. I am currently doing something like that, with some of my tracks too.

Very true. And you're right, experience is your best friend here.
Mixing and mastering, takes a while to learn and understand. There are alot of users here, who are taking their time, learning to mix and master, as best as they could, so don't worry.
