Midi problem.

Hey
So I use this midi keyboard and it works pretty nice.
I have a problem with base and beat editor when I connect it to midi controller and I load a sample I play it and it makes the sample sound with the piano. How do I prevent that.
I tried removing midi and still it comes with the piano and not only sample.
It's with the piano roll. I really don't know how to explain it sorry.

MIDI-kb problem with base and beat editor connected to midi controller makes sample sound

The way i read this is that you get TWO sounds, one out of LMMS, and one out of your MIDI-kb, is that a correct understanding?
I just cant understand why its only with samples, and only in beat editor, so i properly got this wrong :P
But if not..
MIDI-kb's often have a button you can press to avoid this, or you have to manually turn down the MIDI-kb's volume dial
