Hello, please it will be of great help if we could get bar numbers on top of the beat/bassline grid. Dealing with a song with a long beat/bassline bars can be confusing sometimes without numbers on top of the bassline bars.

I understand your idea, but i also see a different approach.
The way you like to build your B&B-line is in one long continuous row -right?
What you could do with that design, was to think about one 'segment' -perhaps 4 bar(?) -as one BB-line
Then your long continuous BB-line would be made out of segments of 4-bar each, and be represented in song-editor as a stair-case like pattern.
What do think about that idea?
One benefit that design would have, would be a possibility to use BB-line8 in both 8.-position but also f.i. in position 32. -or 34 -or...

I like your approach. It's a good idea. Thanks. It's perfect especially when viewed afterward in the song editor as a stair case pattern, yeah. But the only draw back is that once you are playing the 4-bar segment in the B/B (which represent just a part of the long groove) you would have to be switching from one 4-bar segment to another to get the whole thing play in the B/B while mixing. The only solution is to play the whole in the song editor and then go back to a particular 4-bar on the B/B to make changes. But this workflow will be full of too many back and forth movement from song editor to B/B. Others may like it though.

Thanks for your suggestion.

Yes! That is true, you can however set the song-editor to play in a loop, then you can at least edit existing blocks 'on the fly', and you would not have to switch back and forth during that.

YES, this one works. Yes, you can edit in the B/B while playing in loop at the song editor section. Thanks.

Is already in the H U G E bag of suggestions :p
Because the size of the bag, and the tiny number of devs, there is no scheduled version with this improvement
