Ample Guitar not working with LMMS?

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Hello!

I'm trying to use Ample Guitar Lite (https://www.amplesound.net/en/pro-pd.asp?id=7) in LMMS but when I try to drag my patterns to the piano roll, nothing on LMMS will take them. What do I do from here?
I remember trying this plugin, and I had issues. :(

Hope somebody can help us, but this vst might just not work with LMMS.

What pattern are you trying to drag into the piano roll though?

Just as Gps i wonder what 'pattern' you drag in?
The correct usage would be:
Place the AmpleGuitar.dll in a folder in your Samples ligrary
Open lmms
Drag a VST-instrument-host
Image
in to song-editor
Click on the green folder icon on the UI above, and browse to your AmpleGuitar.dll
Press a note
Does it play?
I will take a look at this vst, if i can find a trustworthy site
The thing about 'pattern' we do not understand

Found something on facebook.

Somebody using it in lmms,

Hey Orlando, I've been using ample guitar for a few months now, I've never faced any issues, sometimes dragging and dropping midi stops working momentarily on certain tracks, it's happened with 3x oscillator as well. I would suggest opening up the midi and then coming back out and retrying. If this does not work then save your project and restart lmms, I'm sure this should solve your problem :D
Thank you for your responses!

@GPS I cannot access that facebook link :( Is there a group it is in?

@musikbear The pattern (strumming pattern) I am referring to is the one here:

The button circled in blue, 'drag to host,' typically works by dragging the strumming pattern onto the background of a host program (like LMMS) and plays the correct notes as directed via the chord selection box in the VST. However, I cannot quite get it to work.
The group on facebook is called: LMMS Community.

Are you sure you need to drag that stumming pattern into LMMS ?

I think thats not how that vst works. I think you have notes in LMMS, and then plugin can turn that into strumming.

That's at least how I understand it, I can be wrong.

Been looking at that plugin, because I ones wanted to cover this:

That is not possible. You will have to recreate that pattern in piano-roll in lmms. Your VST obviously has its own midi-note-player, but unless you can export those midi-notes as MIDI (and that would not surprise me if you can!) -If you manage, then lmms can import MIDI
File| Import | MIDI

You wont be able to drag the midi-notes
