I noticed that FL studio does what LMMS doesn't. Meaning that it always have to assign a specific midi keyboard to a specific instrument in order for notes to be copied to that specific instrument. Instead of LMMS knowing that you have a midi keyboard connected already to the PC and the program knows you want to play notes from the keyboard with the specific instrument or sample selected and is ready to record the sample or instruments piano roll. I know allot of people will be wondering what I'm talking about. But quite simply its just trying to get the track or instrument armed automatically with the midi keyboard plugged in to the selected instrument or plugin.
