Clavinova not playing

Hello,

I have a Clavinova that I have connected to LMMS with a USB cable (Printer type). In song editor I have added piano01.ogg, then for that track, I have selected clavinova1 in 'Midi > 'Input'. However I cannot hear or see the notes being played. Anything I can try ?

Clavinova -One from Yamaha`?
Good instrument!. Yamaha is really good supported, so it is propl the connection, either the cable og simply the connection sequence that is the reason.

I have restarted PC and everything working fine. Am not sure if you can further help for below:

I have installed and loaded Mini Grand, it plays one octave lower than it should. I have installed 'Chateau Grand' from Sf2 and I can hear proper octave in Lmms.

P.S Sorry for my newbie question. It's the first time am using a midi software

That can be fixed by moving the base-note on the instrument-UI

Well, the solution to your problem was easier than it seemed. In fact, not everyone will find it so easy to solve this problem. If someone uses the search on the forum and finds this topic, then I want to give you some advice. Restart your pc first. If this does not help, then I advise you to reinstall all drivers for the equipment that you want to connect. If this does not help, then check if you have connected all the cables correctly. Also, there may be a problem in the usb cable. There are several versions of this cable and it is possible that the cable you are using is not supported by your equipment. For example, I somehow bought a used printer, even bought a new cartridge for it from https://www.mrdepot.ca/collections/canon-toner-cartridges, but the pc still did not see it. As a result, it turned out that I used the cable of the first version, and for the correct operation of the printer I needed at least the second. Anyway, hope this helps someone ...
