Presets and SF2 Player

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
I found this video https://youtu.be/2BAyD2XY_VY helpful while trying to understand Presets and how to tune instruments.
Although the video refers to synths, it does appear to work also with SF2 instruments, and it is possible to detune an instrument, and then also to save a preset.

However, the SF2 player does not appear in the My Presets list in my MacOS version, so it's not possible to select a stored preset for reuse. Is this a bug?

You need to save the changed SF2-instrument as a new preset, then you can open it as a preset, from your sidebars My-preset.
Create a new folder in My-preset, and name it like .. SF2presets
Then then you have made a SF2-preset in a project, press the save-preset-button on the instrument-UI,
Image
(first from right)
and browse to yuor SF2presets-folder, and save the preset there.
It is now available from your sidebar.

OBS!!
If you move to a new computer, then your presets will not work, unless you have exact same structure on your HD!!
