Downloaded .dll not showing in FX

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
I have been trying to get a decent metal sound setup for a while now and i found a great example on youtube ( https://youtu.be/i1DuOe3e9ko ) and I have followed all of the instructions up to 2:22 in which I am loading the effects into the FX channel but when I go to find my Le456 preamp, it isn't there. I CAN, however, find the Le456 in side the LMMS directory My Computer tab. The file is located with all my other plugins //Documents/lmms/plugins. Its showing up in the folder as a .dll rather than vst or sfz but I am wondering if my directory might just a little off.

I tried searching the forum but i couldn't find anything addressing the .dll not showing in the FX interface where all the default ones are.
It is supposed to show up, and it is supposed to be a .dll, the only VST format LMMS can support has the extension .dll. Have you tried restarting LMMS?
(.sfz is sforzando, a file format LMMS cannot natively play, and .vst3 is VST3 which LMMS does not support. A VST2 file is dll, so there is no problem with the file.)
I tried downloading and running, and it works fine for me.
Alternatively, download the 32 bit AND 64 bit versions of the plugin, and try running whichever works.

Because you need to add the dll to the correct folder in your installation!
