Hiding ad verti sing

Anything that doesn't fit into other topics goes here!
Some posts are magnets for bots.
This is one of them.
I have locked it now because of bot-injected links to c*sino-sites

So, let detective ACYDE do his job:
I have seen in the last time a person named "Guiders" in this forum. His posts are very confusing and have no meaning and no context to the topics. But when you mark his post, you see a hidden message with a link - linking to a casino website.
The text is written in white and you can't see it until you mark it.
Pretty clever!
I will report this person
Not clever, just stupid, don't give them traffic. Report and move on.

This forum could use a stricter anti-spamming policy. One solution that I've seen on other forums is to disable any links posted by new members, until they have reached a certain number of posts.

Its really not that big problem. I think i have deleted less than 15 users because of spam, this year. If our forum was really bogged down, then perhaps a new tool was needed, but spam is not that proliferate here, so just report, and let us do the dirty work :)

And thanks for your report!
Don't worry ACYDE, the mods are on to them. ;)

Ads and hidden messages are all around us, but often we are too busy to notice and decipher them. We do what advertisers and content creators want, being part of a devilishly smart strategy to influence our buying behavior. This is called hidden advertising.
As I said 4 years ago, the mods are on to them.
So make sure to report the culprits. ;)

You are right buddy! These ads everywhere already pissed me off. You can't even watch videos on youtube.
