Bass notes nearly inaudible

Hello. I'm new to the forum and LMMS. I am quite frustrated trying to figure out why my notes become nearly silent any lower than C4 or C5. if i run a scale it goes from very quiet to loud after it crosses those C keys. please help.

Are you using an sudio sample, a third party vst, or one of lmms' vsts?

Insert a frequency monitor like SPAN. That way you will be able to display directly what frequencies are being used. You can then use a EQ and enhance the frequencies you want to be boosted. Beware not to go into red in the meters in mixer!
