For those who need audio visualizers for your audio tracks I would like to share 2 resources :
Astrofox - advanced open source audio visualizer, you can do pretty much anything with it and a lot of creativity.
You can find it in github, after you search it on google.
Wav2Bar - less advanced than Astrofox but pretty useful too and it has visual particles too, so you can use them in the background of your video. Open source and you can find it in github after you search it on google.
Have a great weekend, people! Cheers!

Friction - Friction is an open-source, vector-based application designed for creating web animations and videos.
It Includes:
High Performance
Friction provides a scalable, high-performance GPU/CPU vector and raster pipeline developed in C++, using Skia and the Qt framework.Animations for the Web
Create smooth and responsive animations for the web with Friction! Using Friction, you can create animated scalable vector graphics (SVG) using the synchronized multimedia integration language (SMIL), as recommended by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).Multiple Scenes and Timelines
Friction gives you the flexibility to work on multiple scenes at once, with multiple viewers, timelines, and graphs. Adjust it to fit your needs and screen real estate.Powerful Expression Editor
Power users are welcome! Friction provides support for expressions with ECMAScript in parameters and effects. Additionally, it includes a complete code editor with autocompletion, syntax highlighting, custom functions, and moreText and Path Effects
Friction includes a diverse range of effects for enhancing your vector graphics and text. Stay tuned for upcoming releases, as we continue to expand our collection of effects.Raster/Shader Effects
Friction offers support for user-customizable shader effects. It also includes a foundational set of core effects for various needs.
You can find it with a search on google and as well on the github platform. Open-Source and free.
Bonus for Friction - enve-plugins (effects to use in Friction) - the plugins are open-source and you can find them on the github platform.
Updated list as of January 11, 2026:
TiXL is an open source software to create realtime motion graphics. We are targeting the sweet spot between real-time rendering, graph-based procedural content generation and linear keyframe animation and editing. This combination allows…
artists to build audio reactive vj content
use advanced interfaces for exploring parameters
or to combine keyframe animation with automation
Technical artists can also dive deeper and use TiXL for advanced development of fragment or compute shaders or to add input from midi controllers and sensors or sources like OSC or Spout.
We strongly believe in usability and intuitive and beautiful interface design. That's why we experiment with different approaches before striking the right balance between usability and powerful flexibility. Currently TiXL version 4 is an ongoing development. It's stable enough to produce high-end visuals create motion graphics use many industry standard features like color correction, scopes and tone mapping, and export small standalone executables.
We hope to bring together a community of artists, developers and creative tinkerers to drive the design and development of the software as a free open source project.
Note: Tixl is the former Tooll3 software.
You can find it with a google search or on github.
Cables is a tool for creating beautiful interactive content. With an easy to navigate interface and real time visuals, it allows for rapid prototyping and fast adjustments.
You are provided with a set of operators, such as mathematical functions, shapes, materials and post processing effects.
Connect these to each other with virtual cables to create the experience you have in mind.
Easily export your piece of work at any time. Embed it into your website or use it for any kind of creative installation.
You can find it on google and github.
Coollab's main goal is to be as intuitive and easy to use as possible. Effects are high-level and they just work out of the box! You don't need to know any math or programming to make your own very cool effects! (Although having those skills allows you to do some advanced stuff).
Start with any image or shape, like your Webcam, add any modifier on top of it, like a Kaleidoscope, and you already have some cool results. You can then play with the 100s of effects to change the color, distort the image, add particles, react to audio, and much more!
Coollab can be used for VJing, exporting videos, creating interactive installations, etc.!
You can also find it with a google search or on the github platform.
