two sounds heard for any single instrument selected.

Hello,
I have been trying to get familiarized with LMMS ( v 1.2.2 ) for past two three weeks. I have a funny problem which I have not been able to resolve myself. I am using a third party plug-in for Indian instruments. When I play a single key, after selecting any instrument from the plug in, I always hear some other instrument in the background. Is there any setting which I am missing out ? The background sound is some what similar to piano. And it is same for any instrument selected. Any suggestions to try out?

Sorry for posting a question in hurry. I could not delete the posted question and therefore writing this reply. I have found out the solution to the problem mentioned by me. In the song-editor, if I go to Star icon at the left of the plug-in added, there are options to set MIDI IN , MIDI OUT . I had chosen MIDI OUT as MICROSOFT GS WAVE-TABLE SYNTH. After removing this tick mark, the problem has disappeared !
