Question About Vocals

So I'm working on a song with vocals in it for the first time and I'm wondering if it would be easier to record and touch up the vocal track in audacity (by touch up I mean remove loud breaths) and move it into lmms or if it would be easier to move the instrumental tracks into audacity and finish the song in there

From what I've seen it's easier to EQ and compress in lmms compared to audacity because it's easier to see what you're doing and play it back, whereas the only pro in audacity is that you can see the sound waves, but with vocals would it still be easier all in lmms rather than moving it all into audacity?

Good question! Since Audacity let you use VST-effects you can pretty much use the same filters and effects there as you can in LMMS.
You can also monitor the waveshape in LMMS with plugins so again there are not a lot of difference. I am leaning toward the decider to be as fluffy as 'workflow' -It really comes down to what feels most intuitive. The differences are minimal.
LMMS has a rather good De-S'er specifically for vocals. I do not know if Audacity has something similar..
