Track randomly becomes more quiet when using limiter

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Hello! I have a problem with some of my tracks: it seems that sometimes, in the loud part, the track suddenly becomes more quiet for a few moments, then it goes back. This seems to be caused by the limiter (Calf Limiter LADSPA) on the master track, because if I turn it off, the problem disappears. But I need this limiter, seriously.

What could be causing this?

There will be issues with limiter on Master. It is a bit to 'simple' fixing a clipping mix, with a limiter on Master, perhaps you will be able to do it with fast-look-ahead-limiter, but the better approach is to use the limiter in the specific track that causes clipping, unless a better result can be reach with some EQ'ing

Thank you! For now, I fixed it by turning off ASC and setting Release to 0 in the limiter. It seems to be working, aside that I don't know why.
