how do i map my physical drum kit to lmms

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
I want my dtx402 to connect to lmms and do stuff with it there. I’ve tried to use the input on the triple oscillator but it plays very low beeps. I want my drum kit to be basically played through my computer. it doesnt have to be lmms if there is any other software that does this

That is not how a DAW works.
You cant get the sound output from a physical-HW to go into LMMS.
You can play on your HW and have LMMS respond to the inputs, and play a virtual-instrument.
If you want to have your HW's samples from your HW-drumkit play inside LMMS, you need to either record when you are playing on your HW, and use the recording in LMMS on a sample-track, or if thats an option (propl it is not), use the samples from the HW if you have them as wave-files wave-files -as samples in LMMS' AudioFileProcessor (AFP)
I suggest using Bandlab's sampler and record different drum sounds to each button. Either Bandlab or a FPC like plugin
