Trouble Aligning Vocals with My Song

Anything that doesn't fit into other topics goes here!
I've been working on a project and I'm facing an issue with aligning vocals to my song. No matter what I try, I can't seem to get them to match up properly. Has anyone else encountered a similar problem? Through Mcdvoice homepage, customer or participant can give his honest opinion (positive or negative feedback) to improve product quality, service, store quality & norms.

You need to move the Sample-track that hold your vocals without snap.
First
* place mouse-pointer over the sample-track
* press and hold left-mouse
The cursor changes to a 4-directional cross
* Press and hold ALT
* Move the container with the Sample
You will propl have to do this a couple of times before you get perfect fit, but since you are moving the container without snap, you can make it fit the music precisely.
I use Audacity to get around this.

First I'll export the song I want to add lyrics to and import it into Audacity. I can then overdub the lyrics in Audacity over the track. Once I've got a take I'm happy with, I delete the instrumental track so I'm left just with the vocals, and I can then export that as a .wav file and put it directly into LMMS in a sample track.

It's a little bit of a roundabout way of doing things, but it eliminates the need to sync up the vocals if you've done it right.

(You can also export just the part of the track you want the lyrics over as a loop, it can save a little time and a little space on your hard drive.)
