I've been researching lots of music production courses and many of them appear to look/feel the same, for the most part.

I see heaps of bedroom producers who are semi-successful, offering their courses (I usually see these through ads on Instagram), alongside more prominent websites like FaderPro, and Armada University. While they seem to offer good courses (I'm not questioning the quality of these courses btw), aside from the unique sound or production process of the artist in the course, they look all the same:

It's usually a well-established artist who talks about a recent track they've made, which turns out to be a 10 to 20-part video series breaking down each element of the track they're showing.

Whilst I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with this, I can't help but think there isn't much separating them. What would make a music production course worth someone's time, and more importantly, money?
