Question on description/bio in our profile and signatures

I want to write sth about me in my profile and i wanna share a link to my Alonetone profile but i just can't find a way to do that.
Why can't we just have description/bio in our profile?
I'm not even sure why you forbid posting links to an user's website or other music and art profiles on other platforms in user signature, i just don't see a point, so if there's an explanation please tell me.

Just insert the url in the profile

For both, Provided you do not exeed the allowed size, You can.
If you link to adds your account will be deleted without warning!

OK sorry for overreacting, i'm just used to forums where you can at least advertise yourself in profile if not sigs so i was confused when i joined this forum.

1 more question: can i post my music profile from a different platform (e.g. Alonetone, Newgrounds etc) on Soundcloud box when edting profile?
