My track won't play in song editor

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
I am a new user, and I am confused. In song editor, I added my piano or sound effect track that I recorded. The problem is, when I left-click to place where I want my track to go, it is gray and it doesn't make any sound. My bass works perfectly fine and it has a color. What is wrong? (I use the 1.2.2 windows version)

Instead of trying to understand exactly what you have tried to do, could i ask you to watch a small'ish introduction video?
I call it Rookie-guide, and it explains basic usage of LMMS:

If you still have any issues, you are most welcome to ask again

I am also new here. thank you so much for sharing all the links. Academized's "write my coursework" https://academized.com/write-my-coursework service was a game-changer for me. I was overwhelmed with assignments, but their team delivered impeccable coursework that exceeded my expectations. The quality was outstanding, and they met my deadline without fail. Their prices are reasonable, making them a go-to for students like me who need reliable academic assistance. If you're struggling with coursework, I highly recommend giving Academized a try for their professionalism and efficiency.

Looks like a routing problem. Check track settings, ensure it's routed to the right output. If it's not that, might be a bug.
