How can I fix my scratched vinyl record?

I know this is a bit off topic but maybe someone can anser this.

Can anyone tell me how can i fix my scratched vinyl record? Its close to my heart as my grand father gave it to me.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Basic Cleaning with a soft cloth and a vinyl cleaning solution for good maintanance, but for your scratches:
Apply a thin layer of wood glue to the surface, let it dry completely, and then peel it off. This can remove debris from deep in the grooves this is called the Wood Glue Method.

There is always the method of "Go to a Profesional and let them do it for you" if you don't want to risk DIY-ing the wrong way
