Hi

Has anyone tried the LMMS 1.3.0 Alpha version?
If so, are there any problems using this version?
Thanks for the reply.

Alpha is as any other software-alpha a test release. It is however stable, but one or more feature may be buggy. The project ought to have made a new off-release WAY back, but mostly politics has stopped this overdo release. 1.22 is stable, but miss several good features.
In respect to weather a pc is able to run LMMS these are requirements:
https://docs.lmms.io/user-manual/gettin ... quirements
Alpha does not need other requirements than Stable 1.22 does!
Thank you for answer
Regards

Some enjoy the new features and improvements, while others have encountered bugs and stability issues, as is often the case with alpha versions. It’s a good idea to back up your projects before using it. I came across https://nongamstopbetting.info/independent-bookmakers/ while searching for independent bookmakers and it’s been a great resource. They’ve reviewed several bookmakers that operate independently of Gamstop, and their insights were really helpful. It gave me a clear idea of which platforms offer the best odds and bonuses. If you’re in the market for independent bookies, this site is definitely worth checking out.

I'm using the latest nightly with a low-level i5 with 4 cores and 16 gb ram. So far no major problems with Windows 10. Really enjoying it. LMMS just keeps getting better and better.

However, I tried the 1.3.0 Alpha too and found that it and the nightly build do not fully load Kushview Element (free version). Or maybe I am doing something wrong. I am trying to use Element with Vestige. And the synth that Vestige/Element will not connect is Surge VST3. I can see the Surge GUI but cannot connect nor hear it.

Any suggestions on how I might get this working would be appreciated.

I have no solution, but could you please take a screen-shot of the Nightly-Tittle bar.
We would like to see what Nightly release it is
Another question: Does any other VST3 than Surge, work in that Nightly/ Alpha through Kusview-Element?
Thank you so much for your reply. It turns out it was my bad. I had my screen too dark and didn't see the scrollbars around the window containing the link-up elements. After scrolling I found all 4 boxes, hooked them up and it works fine. I made some red arrows to indicate where I had to scroll to find all the boxes I needed. I hope this helps anyone trying to do this.

These scrollbars is now made significantly more vissible, but the improvement is only implemented in bug-hunt Nightly.
It looks fine to me now, esp. when I do not use any extra screen dimmers. Interestingly, Surge via Carla is acting up in Linux. I'm not sure what is causing this but this is one reason why I still use Windows. I would like to go totally Linux but want to make music without being frustrated with Wine incompatibility issues. :x :D
