If and when can we expect the next LMMS update/upgrade?

If and when can we expect the next LMMS update/upgrade?
In other words, is LMMS still

1) in development, or is the project
2) dormant ? (maybe needs more developers)
3) abandoned ?
4) status unknown
5) frozen, etcetera

I'm asking because I don't mind using software at any stages, but would like to know if new features will arrive in my lifetime.
No scorn from me in saying this, either. I like LMMS.

Very much alive and there are actually new 'versions' every day!
'Versions' in cite,arks because they are not off. and not guaranteed bugfree, and that sucks. So why no off release for sooooo looong -And definitively overdo?
Reason is that there is no focussed development. Its the nature of a project where skilled users make features they like, and do not focus on what is absolute necessary, but often unsexy to work at and also hard as h... .. Therefore frustrating. We also have 3 platforms so success is even harder.
'"When will next off. release take place:" Nobody knows.. -> soonish..
