Afaik there is no MIDI-keyboard that does not work with 1.22 official release. We stopped keeping tracks of working keyboards ~4 y. ago for that reason
BUT!!
Some keyboards have advanced features where cross-talk between the keyboard and the host (lmms) are necessary, and those type of keyboard-features will
not work! LMMS does not support cross-talk. Iow, the less advanced MIDI-keyboard the higher chance that LMMS will support all the features of the keyboard. One issue some has reported is that drumpads is delayed or not working at all, even though the note input and reaction time is fine.
What keyboard do you plan to buy? Perhaps someone already own one and can tell you specifically about it.
