I can't use VST OTT properly with LMMS.

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
※I use translation.so I think there is a strange sentence.

I installed a free effect plug-in called OTT in LMMS.
However, when the sound of the instrument with effects added is not playing, the CPU swings significantly to the right. As a result, other sounds become choppy and cannot be heard properly.
(Sometimes it's okay if the instrument has other effects installed.)
How can I lower the CPU?

HNY!
I do not know OTT, so i cant say if the issue is a general one. It would be great id someone that has OTT working could chime in. CPU-spikes also depend on hardware. If OTT is very demanding, then the available resurses could be insuficient. Here it helps to shut down all not in use processes, even anti-virus and internet. Also some pc-owners never shut down, instead they sleep the pc. That is a bad decision, because a lot of garbage can pile up, so reboot regularly (It also dim as heck to use power over night..)
If non of this helps please post your:
* Name of your Operative System (Windows/ Linux/ Mac) And subtype (Home' 'Mint' '10.13' aso)
* lmms version, and the site where you got it from
* lmms sound device chosen
